APS - 16 March 2017
NIAMEY (Niger)- Prime Minister Abdelamlek Sellal on Thursday in Niamey called Algerian and Niger's economic operators to work for a "virtuous economy" that may put an end to informal channels and crime.
"We need a virtuous economic system that put an end to informal channels and crime which harm economy in both countries," Sellal said in an opening address at the Algerian-Niger business forum, held on the occasion of the Algerian-Niger high-level joint commission meeting.
Inviting the operators of the two countries to join this "vision" and embark on a new stage of exchanges, Sellal deemed it "necessary to give a fresh impetus to economic relations between Algeria and Niger."
Adressing Algerian and Niger's economic operators, Sellal said the completion of the Trans-Saharan road project "will facilitate trade between Algeria and Niger."
