OSCE Forum : Seeking partnership opportunities

ALGIERS- Minister of Post and Information and Communication Technologies Houda Imane Feraoun said Wednesday, in Berlin, that the participation of Algeria in the economic forum of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), organized under the theme “Connectivity for Commerce and Investment,” aims at seeking the opportunities for the execution of partnership projects with the countries and institutions mastering information and communication technologies (ICTs).

Feraoun, who chaired the Algerian delegation, affirmed that Algeria is seeking the opportunities to execute partnership projects with the countries and companies with large experience in the field of ICTs, according to a communiqué of Ministry of Post and ICTs.

On the sidelines of the works of this forum’s workshops, the minister held talks with delegations rerpesenting several countries and bodies involved in the digital economy and ICTs with whom she examined ways to support Algeria’s efforts for the promotion of national capacities, notably the companies of private sector, in the fields of transport, infrastructure and ICTs, added the source.

This two-day forum was marked by the participation of 57 countries of OSCE and representatives of 11 partners of this organization, including Algeria.
