Sellal: No national development, without productive economy

DJELFA (Algeria)- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal affirmed Monday that the "national development cannot be achieved in the absence of a productive economy."�

"We can’t set up planning for national development in the absence of a productive economy and a permanent quest for the added value of our natural resources, which we started to evaluate before exporting them," Sellal said during a meeting with the civil society members, at the end of his working visit to Djelfa as part of application of president Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s programme.�

"We are committed to apply this programme in all the fields, through interconnected sectors encompassing production, processing, marketing and exporting," added the Premier.��

Moreover, Sellal said that "Algeria resisted in front of the decline of oil revenues, thanks to the wise policy of the president of the Republic, exchange reserves and the inexistence of debts.”

The meeting allowed the Prime Minister to get acquainted with the citizens’ concerns related health facilities, housing, agriculture as well as investment projects in the region. �
