ORAN (Algeria)- The sixteenth International Agricultural Fair in Oran "Agripo Expo 2023" opened Wednesday at Ahmed Benahmed Conventions Centre of Oran (432-km west of Algiers), with the participation of 50 companies operating in agriculture-related activities.
National state-owned and private specialized companies and others from Tunisia, Libya and France, are participating in the event, mainly intended for professionals.
The fair is an opportunity for the participants to showcase their products, such as agricultural machinery, equipment, irrigation devices, fertilisers, packaging, in addition to financial services by financial bodies involved in the field, according to Salim Rabia, the manager of the communication agency "Incube," the event's organizer.
The four-day event aims to shed light on Algeria's economic potential in agriculture, helps professionals to identify investment opportunities and allows them to exchange experiences.
It is also an occasion for national and foreign participants to display their products, services and projects, unveil or discover the latest technologies in the agricultural field and get acquainted with the local market and the potential of the global market.
