Algeria will host the first African Conference for Startup Companies from December 5 to 7, according to a statement issued by the Algerian Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startup Companies and Small Enterprises on Wednesday.
Ministers of African countries, representatives of international and continental bodies concerned with developing the field of Startup Companies and innovation, as well as experts and actors in the African ecosystem, are participating in this conference, organized by the Ministry at the International Conference Center Abdel Latif Rahal, according to the same source.
This conference, the first of its kind on the continent, aims to “unify governmental efforts aimed at strengthening the role of Startup Companies in Africa and dedicating their contribution to economic development, whether through exchanging experiences between countries on public policies established in this regard, or by facilitating the spread of emerging enterprises to access financing sources.” regional and investing more and more within the African space.
