Algeria has 36 airports. More than a dozen of them are international. Among 25 companies that operate in Algeria, two are national: Air Algérie and Tassili Airlines. The fleet of “Air Algérie” is made up of 56 aircrafts that meet international safety standards, both for the transportation of passengers and cargo.

This company will launch a program to acquire 40 aircraft between 2018 and 2025, aiming to operate a fleet of 100 aircraft by 2025.

Nowadays, Air Algérie operates 44 international flights. Tassili Airlines owns a fleet of 12 aircraft, mainly benefitting the oil sector through Charters and Shuttles both at Domestic and International levels.

More recently, Tassili Airlines has extended its network to serve the general public for international charter flights and national and international scheduled transport.

New terminal projects

  • New Oran Air Terminal for an additional capacity of 2.5 million passengers.
  • New Algiers Terminal, for an additional capacity of 10 million passengers.
  • Projects of new control towers: Constantine, Oran, Algiers, Ghardaia.
