US guest of honor at 53rd International Fair of Algiers

ALGIERS-The United States (US) will be the guest of honor at the 53rd International Fair of Algiers (FIA 2022), scheduled for 13-18 June at the Exhibition Palace (Pins Maritimes-Algiers), said the Algerian Company for Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX), event organizer, in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion.

Themed "For A Strategic Partnership", the FIA 2022 seeks "to assert its strategic role as a showcase for the national economy and opportunities offered by the Algerian market," said the same source.

The scope of the theme chosen for this 53rd FIA "already sets the stage for a new era of promotion of the Algerian product, and its development through a win-win partnership with foreign companies present wishing to invest in Algeria."

In addition to Algerian companies, several countries representing different continents will take part in this event, which will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Several sectors of activity will participate in FIA 2022, including manufacturing industries (furniture, decoration, textiles, leather and ready-to-wear), electrical industries, electronics and household appliances, chemical and petrochemical industries and mechanical industries metallurgy.

Companies operating in the sectors of construction and building materials, public works, food and packaging, services, as well as foreign companies of Algerian rights and the tourism sector and handicrafts will partake in the event.
