ALGIERS- Foreign Minister, Sabri Boukadoum, held Friday talks with Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nadjla El Mangoush on ways and means to foster the peace and reconciliation process in Libya.
I held talks with my counterpart, Nadjla El Mangoush, Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on the ways likely to reinforce our efforts in fostering the peace and reconciliation process in this brother country, and this in anticipation Algeria's chairmanship in the Peace and Security Council of the African Union.
Algeria chairs this month the Peace and Security Council (PSC) and will, with its counterpart on the council, ensure the strengthening of the peace and security agenda in Africa.
Further important meetings on the situation in Libya and Mali will also take place during this council meeting.
