ANKARA-The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune was offered a warm welcome from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan Monday in Ankara.
The solemn welcome ceremony took place at the Turkish Presidential Complex in accordance with Turkish customs and traditions.
A 21-gun salute was fired in honor of President Tebboune who was greeted by Erdogan at the entrance of the Presidential Complex. The two presidents listened to the national anthems of both countries.
The two presidents salute a detachment of the Turkish Military Guard who honored them.
President Tebboune then greeted senior Turkish officials and President Erdogan who, in turn, welcomed the members of the Algerian delegation.
The head of state will have one-on-one talks with the Turkish President at the Presidential Complex. The talks will be extended to delegations from both countries.
