President Tebboune receives Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Thursday, in Algiers, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares Bueno, the Presidency of the Republic said in a communiqué.

"President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received today Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares Bueno who is on a visit to Algeria, accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and the Secretary of State for Energy," said the source.

The meeting focused on "the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and its broadening to the sectors of renewable energy, agriculture and shipbuilding, in support to the closer economic partnership that should be raised to the level of the privileged relations between the two neighboring countries."

The meeting was held in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra, Principal Private Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic Abdelaziz Khellaf and Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab, added the source.
