EgyptAir crash: President Bouteflika assures French counterpart of his solidarity

ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika assured his French counterpart, François Hollande, of his solidarity following Thursday’s crash of the EgyptAir flight which killed many, including French nationals.
“It was with great regret that I learnt of the dramatic crash of the EgyptAir plane, which occurred Thursday, over the Mediterranean, causing a great number of victims from different countries, including French nationals,” said President Bouteflika in a message to his French counterpart.
“In these painful circumstances, I would like to express, on behalf of the Algerian people and government, and on my own behalf, our deepest condolences to the French people and government and our sympathy to the families of the victims,” added the Head of State.
“While expressing my solidarity in this difficult ordeal, I assure you, Mister President and dear friend, of my highest consideration and my warmest greetings,” said the President of the Republic.
