EgyptAir crash: President Bouteflika offers condolences to Egyptian counterpart

ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika addressed Thursday, a condolences message to his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fatah al-Sissi, in which he expressed his deep affliction following the death of several Egyptian nationals in the crash of an EgyptAir plane.

“It is with great sorrow that I learnt of the death of several Egyptian nationals in the tragic accident of the EgyptAir crash,” wrote the Head of State.

“Algeria, which lost some of its nationals in this accident, can only share your pain in this difficult ordeal,” said the President of the Republic.

“In this painful circumstance, I want to express to you and to the brotherly Egyptian people and to the families of the victims my heartfelt condolences, praying God Almighty to grant His holy mercy to the deceased, welcome them in His vast Paradise and grant their families patience and comfort,” added President Bouteflika.

“May God Almighty grant you health and well being, protect you as well as your brotherly people from all evil and guide your steps towards progress and prosperity,” concluded the President of the Republic.
