President Bouteflika signs seven presidential decrees ratifying cooperation agreements

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika signed, in accordance with the article 91-9 of the Constitution, presidential decrees ratifying cooperation agreements concluded by Algeria and foreign partners, said Monday a communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic.

The first decree concerns the cooperation agreement in maritime transport between the Algerian and Italian governments, signed on 14 November 2012.

The second decree is about the Algerian-French agreement on the exchanges of active young people, signed in Paris on 26 October 2015. Three other decrees ratify agreements between Algeria and Chad. The first agreement is relating to mutual legal assistance in civil and commercial matters, the second is about the mutual legal assistance in criminal field while the third one concerns extradition.

The three agreements between Algeria and Chad were signed in Algiers on 7 March 2016. A presidential decree relating to the Algerian-Malian cooperation agreement on health, signed in Bamako on 3 November 2016, was also signed by President of the Republic.

The last signed decree is about the headquarters agreement between Algeria and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development relating to the hosting of the regional office of this organization in the Maghreb region and which was signed in Algiers on 26 October 2016.
