Sellal discusses with Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal received Sunday, in Algiers, Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Claude Gakosso who is on a visit to Algeria, bearer of a message to President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, said a communiqué of the Prime Minister’s Office.
During this meeting, the Prime Minister and his guest “reviewed together issues relating to the development of the bilateral relations and cooperation,” said the source.
In this regard, the two sides “showed a convergence of views concerning the need to work for implementation of ways like to further develop the economic relations between the two countries which will be crowned by the next official visit of Congo’s President Denis Sassou-Nguesso,” added the communiqué.
At the regional and international levels, the two sides “broached topical issues, mainly those relating to the situation in the sub-region and to privilege the settlement of the conflicts which are still affecting peace and stability within the framework of dialogues.”
The audience took place in the presence of Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra.
