Sellal on working visit to Niger to co-chair High Joint Commission

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will pay, on 16 and 17 March, a working visit to Niamey (Niger) on the occasion of the holding of the Algeria-Niger High Joint Commission said Tuesday, the Prime Minister’s office in a communiqué.
During this session, which will be co-chaired by Sellal and his Niger counterpart Brigi Rafini, Prime minister and Head of the Government, the two parties “will evaluate the bilateral relations and cooperation, and will define the ways to be implemented in order to provide more dynamism to these relations considering the quality of the political relations,” said the source.
The meeting will culminate in the signing of many Memorandums of Understanding and cooperation agreements relating to several sectors, added the communiqué.
The meeting will be an opportunity for the two parties “to discuss issues of common interest, particularly those relating to development issues and challenges, as well as the conditions of evolution of the security situation in all the sub-region,” said the statement.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a ministerial delegation.
