Annaba: Air Algerie repatriates 322 Algerians stranded in France

ANNABA-A total of 322 Algerian citizens stranded in France since the suspension of air traffic caused by the coronavirus pandemic were repatriated Wednesday evening to Annaba.

These people were repatriated on board two flights of the national airline Air Algerie from the city of Lille (France) to the Rabah Bitat Airport of Annaba, where they were welcomed by officials of the sectors involved in their accommodation during the period of quarantine.

Upon their arrival at Rabah Bitat Airport, the repatriated citizens praised the colossal efforts made by the State to enable them to rejoin their families during this difficult and exceptional period.

The transport services of the province of Annaba have mobilized 15 buses of 100 seats each for this operation to ensure the transport of returnees to the hotels that will accommodate them during the 14-day lockdown, in accordance with the recommended preventive measures.

Citizens repatriated from abroad under repatriation operations scheduled to the province of Annaba will be spread over 4 public and private hotels, namely, Mimosa, Magestic, El Rym in the city of Annaba and El Mountazah in Seraidi.

Another repatriation flight of Algerian citizens stranded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is expected tomorrow Thursday at Rabah Bitat Airport of Annaba.
