Constantine: 248 Algerian nationals stranded in Qatar repatriated

CONSTANTINE- A total of 248 Algerian nationals stranded in Qatar since the suspension of air traffic, caused by the coronavirus pandemic, arrived Sunday in Constantine's international airport Mohamed Boudiaf.

These nationals were repatriated aboard a plane of the national airline company "Air Algérie," coming from the city of Doha, in Qatar.

Upon their arrival, the repatriated Algerian nationals, welcomed by the local officials and receiving care from tourism and health services, carried out usual formalities and took preventive medical tests.

According to the head of tourism department at the directorate of this sector Amar Bentorki, these nationals will be quarantined in Ibis and Novotel hotels for 14 days.
