BLIDA- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad on Saturday in Blida urged the Algerians to show vigilance and be cautious to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19).

"We urge citizens to be aware, vigilant and to protect their health and their children," said the Prime minister who supervised the opening of a new ward dedicated to the quarantine of potential patients with coronavirus.
The Premier was accompanied Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abderrahmane Benbouzid.

"Lessons have been suspended in schools to keep children at home far from public places and gardens. They need to stay at home until this crisis is over and life returns to normal," he added.
"We are not in a state of emergency. These are just specific systems, because we are in a global situation which concerns all countries, even the most developed," insisted the Prime Minister.
