Coronavirus: Air Algerie temporarily suspends flights from/to France

ALGIERS- National airline Air Algerie has decided to temporarily suspend flights from and to France in the airports of Setif, Batna, Tlemcen, El Oued, Biskra, Chlef, Bejaia and Annaba, as a precautionary measure against the spread of the coronavirus, the airline said Friday in a statement.

Air Algerie also decided to reduce, from March 14 to April 4, its flights from and to France, in the airports of Algiers, Oran and Constantine, the statement said.

In addition, the airline suspends all flights from and to Spain from March 16 to April 4.
Passengers impacted by the flight disruptions may benefit from a change of reservation, postponement or refunds without charge, the statement noted.
On Wednesday, Air Algerie had announced suspension of flights from and to Rome, Italy, from Sunday March 15, as a precautionary measure due to the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Italy.
