BAMAKO- Algerian foreign minister Sabri Boukadoum, proposed the drawing up of a new roadmap adapted to the objectives of the peace agreement and to the Transition period in Mali, reiterating Algeria's commitment to support the process.
"Today I reiterate Algeria's commitment, in its capacity as leader of international mediation and chair of the Monitoring Committee of the Peace Agreement (CSA), to do everything possible to continue the implementation of the Agreement during this delicate period," Boukadoum told the opening of the 41st ordinary session of the CSA held in Bamako.
"Algeria, which has made significant efforts to stabilize Mali through the conclusion of the Agreement, and for the preservation of the stability of this brother country over the last months, is committed to bring its support to the ongoing Transition period," he said
"It would be vital that your proceedings culminate, in a reasonably short time, in the completion of the implementation of the priority actions inherited from the previous sessions," said the Minister, addressing the participants.
"We believe that the current context offers an excellent opportunity for the Malian party to look at the remaining stages of the implementation of the Agreement through the development of a new roadmap adapted to the objectives and the timetable of the Transition," he advocated
