Rio 2016 Paralympics: Madjid Djemai wins bronze in T37 1500m

RIO DE JANEIRO- Algerian athlete Madjid Djemai won the bronze medal in men's T37 1500m of Rio 2016 Paralympics on Friday.

Djemai clocked 4:17.28, behind Ireland's Michael Mckillop (4:12.11) and Canada's Liam Stanley (4:16.72).

Algeria has snatched so far eight medals overall, including 4 silver and 4 bronze, since the beginning of the Paralympics.

Nearly 4.300 athletes representing over 160 countries are participating in Rio 2016 Paralympics, which will run until 18 September.
