Coronavirus: 12 new cases, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- A total of 12 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 13 recoveries but no deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Monday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 270,551, the number of deaths remains unchanged (6879) while that of recovered patients stands at 182,194 cases, the statement said.

Two patients are under intensive care, according to the statement, which noted that 46 provinces have reported no new cases.

The ministry of Health stresses the need to maintain vigilance, abide by the rules of hygiene and physical distancing and to keep wearing masks.
