Coronavirus: 7 new cases, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- A total of 7 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 5 recoveries but no deaths have been reported over the past 24 hours in Algeria, the Ministry of Health said Wednesday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 270,619, the number of deaths remains unchanged (6879) while that of recovered patients reached 182,266 cases, the statement said.

One patient is currently under intensive care, according to the statement, which noted that 46 provinces have reported no new cases.

The Ministry of Health stresses the need to maintain vigilance, abide by the rules of hygiene and physical distancing and keep wearing masks.
