Coronavirus: Four new cases, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- A total of four (04) new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), two (02) recoveries but no deaths have been reported over the past 24 hours in Algeria, the Ministry of Health said in a statement on Wednesday.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 271,186, the number of deaths remains unchanged (6881) while that of recovered patients stands at 182,624 cases, the statement said.

Two patients are currently under intensive care, according to the statement.

The ministry of Health stresses the need to maintain vigilance, abide by the rules of hygiene and physical distancing and to keep wearing masks.
