Coronavirus: One new case, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- One new confirmed case of Coronavirus (Covid-19), a recovery but no deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Sunday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 265,897, the number of deaths remains unchanged (6875) while that of recovered patients stands at 178,421 cases, the statement said.

One patient is under intensive care, according to the statement, which added that 47 provinces have reported no cases.

The ministry stresses the need to maintain vigilance, abide by the rules of hygiene and physical distancing and to keep wearing masks.
