Covid-19: Algeria reports 122 new cases, 104 recoveries and 02 deaths

ALGIERS-One hundred and twenty-two (122) new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 104 recoveries and 02 deaths were reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, said Sunday Spokesman for the Scientific Committee monitoring the coronavirus pandemic, Dr Djamel Fourar.

The number of confirmed cases hit 115,265, i.e. 0.3 cases for 100,000 inhabitants, and that of deaths reached 3036 while 79,887 patients recovered, said Dr Fourar at a press briefing on the evolution of the Covid 19.

A total of 14 provinces reported less than 9 cases whilst 29 recorded no cases in the last 24 hours. Five (5) provinces reported more than 10 cases.

Besides, 14 patients are currently in intensive care, said Dr Fourar.
