Uprising of Ouled Sidi Sheikh 1864-1865

The Ouled Sidi Sheikh Uprising was launched by the Tribal Confedacy in March 1864 and spread from the South of Oran to the Titteri, then to most of the Tell (North of Algeria). It was repressed in April 1865, but continued sporadically until 1870.
