ALGIERS- The Ministry of Transport announced Monday a new schedule of international flights which will be applied as of next week, consisting in increasing the number of flights from and to Algiers by 24 weekly flights.
Thanks to this new schedule, the number of flights from and to Algiers will increase by 12 weekly flights which will be provided by Air Algerie, the ministry said in a statement.
The schedule comprises 2 flights a week to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), 2 flights every week to Great Britain (London). The number of flights to Germany (Frankfurt) will rise from 2 to 3 per week, from 2 to 3 flights a week to Italy (Rome), from 2 to 4 weekly flights to Turkey (Istanbul), from 2 to 4 weekly flights to Spain (Barcelona), according to the source.
As part of the reciprocity, foreign air companies operating in Algeria will schedule the same number of flights (12) to reach a total number of additional flights of 24 weekly flights from and to Algiers, added the ministry.
