Announcement concerning the introduction of a tourist visa on arrival for the visit of the Algerian great south

The Embassy of the People’s Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria to the United State of America wishes to inform that the Algerian government has decided to substitute, on an exceptional and temporary basis, regularization visa (visa on arrival) instead of consular visa for tourists wishing to visit south of Algeria with travel agencies.

This new measure concerns all the wilayas and tourist municipalities of the south, namely: Tamanrasset, Illizi, Tindouf, Adrar, Béchar, Timimoune, Djanet, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Beni Abbes, Aïn Salah, Touggourt, Laghouat, Biskra, Djelfa, Msila, Ouargla, El-Bayad, El-Oued, Naama, Ghardaïa, Ouled Djellal, Aïn Guezzam, El-M’Ghaïar and El-Menia.
