Over 200 American tourists visit Algiers, Tipaza

ALGIERS- The cruise ship Silver Cloud on Tuesday called at Algiers port with 225 American tourists, who came to discover the archaeological sites of Algiers and Tipaza (70-km west of Algiers), on the second day of their trip to Algeria.
After having visited the city of Oran (432-km west of Algiers) and its rich archaeological sites on Monday, the ship docked at the port of Algiers with six planned tourist circuits.
The American tourists visited the National Museum of Fine Arts where they received information about the museum's history, before they went to the botanical garden of El-Hamma.
The tourists ended their visit with a trip to Cherchell where they discovered the vestiges of this ancient city, including the Roman ruins.
