Over 200 foreign tourists discover Algiers, Tipaza

ALGIERS-Another group of more than 200 foreign tourists, mostly Americans, arrived Wednesday in Algiers to visit many cultural and tourist sites in the capital, in the provinces of Tipaza and Oran.

The American cruise ship, "Silver Cloud," transported the tourists to Algeria as part of a sea crossing to visit the main ports of North Africa.

It is a unique experience for most of these tourists.

In addition, the tourists, most of them from the US, Europe, and South America, began their visit from the bay of Algiers, renowned as one of the most striking places in the world for the panoramic view it offers, especially at night.

Once at the quay, the circuit organizer, namely "Magic Tours," took the visitors from the quay once they arrived.

"We are in Algeria for the very first time as part of a Mediterranean crossing and are eager to discover this destination, which is totally unknown to us," Anna, a septuagenarian US tourist, told APS.
