Silver Cloud" ship carrying 224 US tourists stops at Port of Oran

ORAN-The tourist ship "Silver Cloud" stopped at the Port of Oran on Monday with 224 American tourists on board.

During this stopover, tourists visited several historical and cultural sites.

Six tourist circuits across the city center of Oran, Sidi El Houari, El Bey Palace, the Pasha Mosque, Murdjadjo Mount, and Santa-Cruz Fort have been planned.

Handicrafts exhibitions were also organized during these circuits. Another tourist ship is expected to call at Oran on September 22 carrying 208 American tourists, the local tourism Director Kaim Omar Belabbes said.

A third stopover is also scheduled for September 24. One hundred and fifty (150) are concerned.

The province of Oran is becoming more coveted by tourists as it houses multiple tourist sites, said the same official.

These tourist circuits are organized by a private Algerian tourist agency in coordination with the direction of tourism and handicrafts of Oran.
