Algeria offers condolences on deadly stampede at Indonesian stadium

ALGIERS-Algeria offered heartfelt condolences and expressed deep compassion to Indonesia, following a stampede that occurred on Saturday at the end of a soccer match and which left several people dead and injured, said Sunday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad in a statement.

"Algeria offers its heartfelt condolences and deep compassion to the Government and people of the Republic of Indonesia following the stampede that left several dead and injured at the end of a soccer match," the statement said.

"Algeria also expresses full solidarity with Indonesia in this ordeal," the statement concluded.
