ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra met, Friday in Paris, Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nadjla Al-Mangoush, to whom he reiterated Algeria's commitment and constant solidarity with Libya, until achieving security and stability in this country and the strengthening of Libyans ranks.
"I was delighted to meet once again with my sister Nadjla Al-Mangoush, Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the Paris Conference, to whom I reiterated Algeria's attachment and its strong and loyal position towards Libya until achieving security and stability and strengthening Libyan ranks," Lamamra tweeted.
The head of Algerian diplomacy participated Friday in the Paris International Conference on Libya, representing President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. During this meeting, he reiterated Algeria's call to all foreign parties to respect Libya's sovereignty, territorial integrity and the independence of its decisions.
Furthermore, he strongly condemned "the continued foreign interference, in all its forms, in the internal affairs of this brotherly country, and the involvement of some foreign parties in the violation of the arms embargo, despite their commitment to respect the conclusions of the Berlin conferences and the relevant Security Council resolutions."
