3rd International Fair on Security Systems, Environmental Protection kicks off

ALGIERS-The International Fair on Security Systems, Environmental Protection and Fight against Fires (2SPRO 2021O) kicks off on Monday at the international center of conferences in Algiers.

Launched by Director General of Regulation and Organization of Markets, Sami Koli, as a representative of the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion, this 4-day exhibition is marked by the participation of nearly 70 exhibitors, including a dozen foreign companies from Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and France.

On this occasion, Koli underlined the importance of this event which aims to develop Algeria's resilience against natural fires and industrial risks.

He further stressed the need for national companies to meet international standards to ensure better protection against risks at the national level and export their services worldwide.

In this regard, he said that the ministry has thousand professionals registered at the level of the National Trade Register Center (CNRC) in the field of prevention and fire fighting, industrial risks and environmental protection.

Among these professionals, there are nearly 2,400 companies (including 958 legal entities) involved in equipment, maintenance, and prevention," he said.

"In addition, there are 1,880 consultancies specializing in the field of environmental protection," he concluded.
