Pharmaceutical industry: signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education and Pfizer

Pharmaceutical industry Algeria: signing of a Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education and US company Pfizer to train Algerian professionals in the fields of Pharmaceutical Industry & biotech. The Memorandum provides for the launch of an educational initiative titled "B-Imtiyaz".
The signing ceremony was held at the premises of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) with the presence of the Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abdelbaqi Benziane, as well as the Algerian Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Abderrahmane Lotfi Djamel Benbahmad.
The agreement allows for university students majoring in pharmacy and biotechnology to benefit from first-class training through curated lectures, and practical experiences. The agreement also provides for a feasibility study to select an incubator to support Algerian students and researchers in the biotech sector.
