Creation of university incubator for startups Ouargla University

ALGIERS - Sonatrach has contributed, along with the National Agency for the Promotion of Research and Technological Development Results (ANVREDET), to the creation of a university incubator for start-ups in the "Kasdi Merbah" University de Ouargla, the Group said in a statement on Sunday.

"In order to strengthen and enhance its role as an economic partner and social operator, Sonatrach has contributed, along with ANVREDET, to the creation of a university incubator for start-ups in Ouargla," the Group said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page.

This project is intended to promote scientific research and various innovation works and to bring them to fruition, through support for innovative project initiators for the creation of startups and SMEs, added the same source.

"Sonatrach has a vision to support startups, by opening up the field to them and offering them the chance to research and develop their projects together," said the Chairman and CEO of Sonatrach Group, Toufik Hakkar, concluded the same press release.
