ALGIERS-The Algerian football team will face Mali on 6 June at Mustapha-Tchaker stadium in Blida (8:45 pm) and Tunisia on 11 June at Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Rades (Tunisia), the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced Saturday in a communiqué.
Before these games, Captain Riyad Mahrez's teammates will start a series of friendly games with a match against Mauritania on 3 June at Shaheed Mustapha-Tchaker in Blida (8:45 pm).
The Greens' friendly games are part of the programme of the national team for the second round of the Qatar-2022 World Cup qualifiers whose beginning has been postponed from June to September. The Africa champions will start the qualifiers with a game against Djibouti in Blida then Burkina Faso.
Algeria will play the four last games in October and November.
